When do you use a phone? Only if it has a charge correct? You can't use a phone if it's dead. So is true when you need to help others. You cannot help others or be of use to others when you are drained of energy. It has come to my attention that the way we use our electrical devices alludes a lot to how we treat ourselves, or moreover how we as a society have grown to treat each other. Insinuating of course that we must constantly be "ON' and that we must always have the answers at our fingertips. With this robotic expression no wonder, our anxiety as a whole has sky-rocketed! I encourage you to address your phone habits and your self-deprivation habits at the cost of constant availability and responsiveness. Not only do we need to evaluate our behavior when it comes to consistent abuse of the device which is an analogy of our abuse to our overworked minds but to also take this time to care for our batteries. I do not know if you are aware, but it is great for your phone's battery life to allow your device to completely die and then let it charge. This alludes to the truth and power of allowing yourself total rest for awhile while you deliberately charge, and not try to have 10 tabs open like when you are usually charging your phone. When it comes to rest, apply your same deliberateness and work ethic to resting. Make sure you are setting yourself up for rest success! Turn your phone off, do not be available to others 24/7, sleep when you need to, take your vitamins/minerals, drink your water, listen to soft music, meditate, and breathe deeply into your few moments of stillness. You and your phone's battery life will thank you!
